ROOTED IN CONNECTION
From online conversations
to shared creative ground.
A small festival with room to participate.
Our connections to Central Portugal are part of Hayseed Retreats' next chapter. We are developing the idea of a writing and arts festival in the area near Castelo Branco, with a view to holding it in summer 2027.
The vision is an intimate, welcoming gathering built around taking part: putting pen to paper, making art, exchanging ideas and finding inspiration in one another's company.
We will share practical details as the plans take shape. At this stage, the festival is an ambition in development, with no confirmed dates, venue, guest line-up or tickets on sale.
THE FESTIVAL WE IMAGINE
Come to create.
Look & make.
We envisage participatory art activities, sketching and painting, with space for different creative practices to meet.
Gather & connect.
A small festival atmosphere, outdoor creative sessions and conversations among people who enjoy making things together.
These are programme ideas, subject to development and confirmation.
